Calcium Hypochlorite (Ca(ClO) — is a 2 powerful oxidizing agent and a versatile disinfectant with a high active chlorine content.
It is widely used in the oil, gas, and petrochemical industries for the treatment of process water, drilling fluids, and wastewater, as well as for the prevention of biofilm formation in pipeline systems.
Thanks to its versatility, calcium hypochlorite is also applied in other sectors:
water treatment (disinfection of drinking water, swimming pools, and recirculating systems);
pulp and textile industries (bleaching);
sanitary treatment of equipment and facilities in food and pharmaceutical enterprises.
